Christ Calls is a registered charity which promotes Christian Ministry and activities, which enhance the social and spiritual welfare of the community as well as our members. Christ Calls Ministries started in Oct 2006 through instant obedience of the word of God. A man who was a traditional dancer, an instrument guy in his local church, with no qualities and experience of being a leader, obeyed God and his life changed.

Through his obedience, he became a laughing stock, lost friends and support from anyone around but because God had called him, Christ Calls Ministries is growing and the vision he has for Southend-on-sea has no limits. The ministry is based in Southend on sea, Essex. Our membership is multiracial and multicultural, reflecting the nature of our Master Jesus Christ. At Christ Calls we believe that everyone has an assignment, and a God-ordained destiny to fulfill. Our aim is to help every individual to realize and do the latter, build a family of God and to restore love and fellowship in our broken community.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, giving a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and humanity and containing a correct prophecy of the ages to come regarding heaven, earth, and the destiny of humanity. Pastor Siyabuya Sydney Dube and Pretty Dube have a goal to preach the word of God. They have a vision of building, a spiritual family. To bring people to Christ and to bring change to peoples lives through the word.

We are created for community, fashioned for fellowship and formed for family and none of us can fulfil God’s purposes by ourselves.

The bible says we are put together, joined together, built together, members together, heirs together and we are caught up together through Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour.
